FINE ART

Patti Lennon-Potter is a visual artist, photographer and sculptor, working in acrylic, watercolor, oil, and mixed media. She uses her formal education and experience in Environmental Science to inform her artwork often incorporating minerals, semi-precious stones, gems, metals and other organic materials into her abstract and impressionist creations.  Her realism work reflects her love of science through painstaking attention to detail so that the subject is depicted precisely as it may appear to the naked eye.

I am forever searching for the essence of a thing and when I find it the experience changes me.  My work seeks to capture that essence in an artistic expression that I can share with others. LIVE PAINTING FOR CHARITY

 

Patti believes that through art, you are able to reach the heart. As part of her mission to connect with her community and support organizations that provide comfort, care, protection, and direction to struggling people, Patti paints live at Galas, Luncheons, and other fundraising events.  Her paintings are then auctioned to raise money for the charity. Lennon-Potter has raised over $250,000 for various charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Houston Area Women’s Center, Houston Shoulder to Shoulder, Family Houston, Jr. League Houston, CASA Travis County, Houston Rodeo Scholarship Program, and The Great Age Movement since 2016.
